Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-23 (AJL 2008)

At last, dapat gak aku tengok satu anugerah (sort of) Malaysia fully. Bukan apa, since masuk alam Sekolah Menengah especially kat Seksyen 18 aku memang lah takde kesempatan nak tengok benda kejadah camni either, Malaysian Idol, OIAM, AIM, Anugerah Skrin dan AJL. Walupun, sometimes aku rasa cam xde faedah tengok benda2 camni tapi to me it is a pleasure not be missed out.

AJL malam tadi, mmmhhhh..... everybody got their own opinion and point. Cam Kak Yong, she keep on criticising the make up that the artists wear. Aku lak cam, who cares. Tapi that's her. Overall I like with what they done last night. The performance especially. Congratulation Meet Uncle Hussain. Memang they deserve to be the Juara Lagu. Although aku sebenarnya tak lah obses sangat ngan Indie group tapi aku rasa dat some of 'em sounds brutally awesome including M.U.H. Lagu Untukmu memang dah lama menjadi one of my favourite song since before tapi sebab certain people yang terlalu menatijahkan kefanatikan mereka terhadap Indie band membuatkan aku jadi loya dan hilang selera nak minat dat kind of band. Cam "Takkan Indie hilang di dunia" or "Once Indie always an Indie".........Whatever! Repeat:aku sebenarnya tak lah obses sangat ngan Indie group tapi aku rasa dat some of 'em sounds brutally awesome including M.U.H. Which is to say, aku xlah anti kat mereka2 nie pon.

Pastu the Faizal Tahir's winning, memanglah banyak mengundang kontroversi so far. Terlalu ramai typical Malay fan esp. Ziana Zain's fan yang cakap Ziana should win that Best Vocal Award. What? Just because she is a Diva aka Otai dalam bab2 vocal nie and does that mean she should won that award. Just now aku dgr balik da exact performance dia nyanyi kat AJL through HOT fm, pergh awfull ar. Terlalu banyak sangat drama & adegan tarik menarik suara since the beginning of the song plus suara ala2 sedeyh kat penghujung lagu. Bukannya sedap pon, walupon aku nie juz nobody in the music industry and aku pon cakap through my sense of hearing, honestly speaking... she doesn't sounds good like she was before. Noktah.

And.... Faizal Tahir nya lagu for Sampai Syurga memang sedap. Well, pemenang AIM kot, who can't denies his credibility in Music. Best performance! Memang da judges dah wat pilihan yang tepat. Da funny thing is, time dengar kat Hot.fm ada yang x faham kenapa dia kena gunting rambut kat stage. Duh, thats what we called art (abstract). See, wasn't it creative. Sepanjang 23 AJL, does any performance yang wat cam2.... xde lg kan. Hehe..

I found out that Faizal Tahir's performance 65% similar ngan lagu Leona Lewis which is called Better in Time time awal2 nie:


Apa2 pon puas hati ar ngan performance malam tadi. Looking forward for another up coming AJL, maybe kalo leyh nak M.U.H masuk lagi through Pari-pari, Aizat ngan Fikirlah, Siti ngan theme song Spa Q2 and Suki ngan usah. Pergh.. aku pon still layan lagu malay rupanya. Saper yg cakap aku nie minat JPon jerk?

Ouran High School Host Club

Akhirnya......... update gak aku kat blog nie. Lately, aku ada melayan this anime which is called Ouran High School Host Club. It is about a club managed by Tamaki to please womans by designating them (the choosen boys aka The Host). The story took place in a very prestigious and elite school which only "The Son of The Rich" stays in it.

Another thing.......Haruhi, a girl from a commoners family got in it (into the school) because of a scholarship sponsored by the father of Tamaki which was also the Founder's of the Ouran High School.

The story begins when Haruhi went into a Music Room to find a her own places to study. Lucky/Unluckily, a bunch of Kawaii, hot guys (The Host Club) already got the place and made troubles to Haruhi. In fact, the room is the Host club centre to do their activities. Due to some reason, Haruhi have to repay the boys back by working to them.

After some moment, Tamaki (the Host Club leader) found a very hidden talent in Haruhi to be a part of the club. Instead of working for the Club, Tamaki turned Haruhi to working with the club to pay what she've done before.

So, this is the moment where the story begins. The twist of this story is when the boys found out that Haruhi is actually a girl, and how to keep it as a secret through out the whole story. Sound pretty close like The Hana Kimi right . But, I'm pretty sure this Anime is way different than the Hana Kimi and so the others.

This the Best Anime I've watched so far along with CardCaptor Sakura which like 10 years before. I can say that, Ive laughed a lot through each episode and cried at the same time. This is the Anime not to be missed to those who were a Japanese Freak like me. I really like the ending where how Haruhi trying to denied and confessed at the same time her true hearts to the one that she love. The last minute antagonist was also a damn-work-irritating kind of character. I didn't expected this is how they gonna end the Anime. Argh........ Super Kawaii and extremely Fun.

Beside that, I've heard some rumours saying that this Anime going to turned itself into a live action. It'll be pretty exciting especially when the expected cast that going to starring in this Live Action was like Maki Horikita (as Haruhi) and other talented star which already made their names in the other Jdorama.

Hanazakari Kimi No Tachi e (Hana Kimi)

I’ve just done watching one of the best J-Dorama I’ve ever seen in my whole life. Enthusiast!

Some rough review about this J-Dorama, it was such similar to those that I watched previously since my “High-School” days; that is about High-School Students in a High-School scenario. Such a typical scene that we’ve been served, the same method and that almost the same theme that the director trying to bring across to the audience. I’m not trying to say that it was such a lame and boring ways of delivering it, because it happens to be that it always worked.

Just look at Waterboys 2, Proposal DaisakusenNobuta wo Produce, (Operation Love) and they were all similar when it comes to the “some kind of what we called cliché’ High School Phenomena”- The one that I observed from my watching of the J-dorama that are similar to one another :

1. The main character (85% of all the J-dorama that I watched) was a new student from other schools or country.
2. The main character (60%) finds it is hard to get along with the new environment. Culture-Shocked.
3. The one that they oppose the biggest is actually their besto (best friend/lover) at the end of the story (80%).
4. There was some sort of a status-quo/click among the community (82%).
5. The Hero was among cool guy that shut a lot. (86%) Exception for PD, Yamapi has the biggest mouth compared to the others.
6. Undeniable, they (82%) put some scene regarding on special occasion or festive as “where the magic begins”.
7. The Hero was not so family-oriented person at the beginning. They fought the most with their father rather than their Mom as if the father is a heart-stoned person (74%).

Other than almost negative criticism (of the 7 similarities listed above), all of them were also similar to one another regarding on:

1. The OST (Of Sound-Track) of the Drama that is too much of awesomeness to handle with. (100% Similar and Proven) Such as Niji Mou Hitotsu No Natsu-Fukuyama Masaharu of Waterboys 2, Yume oi Runner & Ashita Hareru Kana of Proposal Daisakusen, Peach & Ikenai Taiyou of Hana Kimi and others.
2. The ending (100% true and similar) which make me fall into tears no matter what the ending looks like.
3. The after-watching symptom, me calling, talking and promoting to others especially Amal-Desu and Rtain about what’ve I watched minutes after the J-Dorama ends. Consider now was a part of it. (100% happened).

Back to the main topic, Hana Kimi was the coolest J-Dorama ever. As what that I’ve mentioned earlier. This story is new on the board, the struggle of a girl, Ashiya Mizuki (by Maki Horikita) trying to heal the past incidence that caught Sano into a gang fight which injured him hoping that he will participate again at the athletics tournament with full of joy. The twist is that how Ashiya Mizuki become an impostor in a sense of she’s pretending to be a boy physically so that she will get closer to Sano in the all-boys school.

This J-dorama is full of laughter especially when it comes to Nakatsu roles as a boy that struggling himself to find his true orientation, his homosexuality.

The spices of the J-Dorama such as Midori 4, The 3 different dorms (Judo, Athletic and theater) indicates the 3 different status-quo, the doctor and the photographer and a lot of competition/celebration/festivals around sure does sweeten things up. I am really enjoyed watching each episode with lots of excitement.

This is one of the J-Dorama that you should not miss. Watch it and it sure will brighten your days with a glimpse of a smile. I did.
